An icon in regional dining Lake House has long been regarded as one of Australia’s best restaurants.
Seasonal produce driven menus are strong on underlying technique and pay homage to the efforts of regional suppliers. A team of talented dedicated cooks under the direction of Executive Chef Alla Wolf Tasker work from the ground up producing virtually everything, from house baked breads to an extensive charcuterie range, on the premises. The restaurant dining room sunlit by day, offers magnificent views through its large expanse of windows. Guests enjoying drinks at dusk on the outdoor terraces witness the daily ritual of our resident kookaburra family flying in to be fed. Lake House offers “fine dining with its top button undone” and the path to our door is regularly traveled by savvy travelers from all over the world.

The Lake House Winelist boasts an impressive 600+ labels from the surrounding regions and benchmark vineyards around the world.
The short term Cellar Room is available for private dining. A hand crafted oak table for up to 16 people is set with fresh cut flowers and offers a wonderful venue for birthdays, anniversaries or any other special celebrations.
