FORAGE & FEAST - A Retreat for True Gourmands

An activity and indulgence packed two night retreat for groups of six or more food and wine lovers.

Your group of fellow "gourmands" and you will:

• Enjoy two nights accommodation
• Start each day with a delicious breakfast
• Indulge in an a la carte dinner one evening with selected wines
• Armed with a regional produce "clue list" your group will take to the beautiful surrounding countryside and spend a morning searching out the best local produce. You will meet local winemakers, growers and provedores, catch some fish and perhaps make the acquaintance of a rare breed pig or two.
• On your return, join one of the Lake House chefs in the state of the art demonstration kitchen for a fun, hands on preparation of lunch - utilising the produce you have gathered.
• That evening, a degustation dinner of several courses to delight your palate will be held in the private cellar dining room. Matching wines will be chosen by your sommelier.
