Hotel Studios, Suites and Villas are beautifully appointed with unique custom furnishings, largely from nearby suppliers or handcrafted by local artisans. Original art hangs in every room from the Wolf-Tasker Family private collection. The Farm inspires as much in The Spa at Lake House as it does in the Restaurant. Situated on the eastern shore of Lake Daylesford; beautiful Waterfront Pool Studios have some of the best views on the property. Immediately adjacent to the solar heated infinity pool – accessed either via balconies or through the private garden gate – the rooms overlook the pool waters or serene Spotted Gum laid terraces towards the lakeshore and rows of silver birch originally planted in 1979.

The recently renovated studios are indulgently appointed with plush interiors – large comfortable king beds with local woollen throws, wide luxurious sofas and armchairs perfect for relaxing in the afternoon with a little room service or glass of wine while watching the sunset over the far side of the lake. Modern ensuites include heated floors, brightly lit make up mirrors & dual showers.

They also have private lake access from the main Waterfront Suite walkway.

Each Suite has its own unique décor; the use of soft textural fabrics ensuring that it feels comfortable and luxurious. There are original paintings from resident artist Allan Wolf-Tasker as well as white eggshell bookcases featuring individual pieces from local ceramicist Bridget Bodenham and Bronze artist Anthony van der Zweep. Small touches such as birdwatching books help guests to recognise the many beautiful examples of local fauna that can be viewed from the comfort of the suite. Kookaburras, crimson rosellas, kingfisher, yellow-tailed cockatoos, wedge-tailed eagles, geese, swamphens and more. Binoculars are available also.

The Lodge at Dairy Flat Farm Daylesford

A luxurious, private Lodge serviced by the team at Lake House Daylesford, set amongst almost 40 acres of productive farmland and gardens, 10 minutes from the Lake House Hotel.

Dairy Flat is the Lake House’s regenerative Farm, its productive gardens, olive grove and orchard supplying much of the raw produce needed for the 2 Chef Hat restaurant.

Dairy Flat Lodge features 6 private Suites splendidly decorated and filled with individual furnishings and artwork. An exclusive concierge provides a farmhouse style breakfast, delivers pastries from the on site bake house and mixes cocktails for aperitivo by the hot tub or firepit.

Dairy Flat Lodge is available to book per suite (2 guests) up to 8 weeks in advance. Guest wanting to take the whole Lodge for a private gathering can book 12 months in advance.
